Congressman Robert Garcia, representing California's 42nd district since 2023, shared a series of tweets on the economic policy and political implications of various actions on April 10, 2025. Garcia, who hails from Lima, Peru and now resides in Long Beach, used these platforms to voice his concerns about recent economic developments and political figures.

In a tweet posted on April 10, 2025, he criticized former President Donald Trump's tariff policy, citing its impact on working families and economic stability. He remarked, "Trump’s tariff policy has already caused serious damage to the economy and working families. People will still lose jobs, prices are still going up, and small businesses have no certainty of what’s next. Trump is a chaos agent and we need Republicans to grow a spine."

Later, on the same day, Garcia called for action against Elon Musk by stating, "It’s time to Fire Elon Musk."

In another tweet on April 10, 2025, Garcia posed questions regarding the actions of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene in connection to tariff announcements, expressing concern about possible insider trading. He queried, "What did Marjorie Taylor Greene know about the tariff announcements and what stock trades did she make? We need answers."

Garcia, currently serving in the U.S. Congress, replaced Ken Calvert in 2023. His educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach.
