Nanette D. Barragán, a U.S. Congresswoman representing California's 44th district, shared her perspectives on various issues through a series of tweets posted on January 31, 2025. Her comments addressed healthcare services, climate and infrastructure funding, and federal resource allocation.

On January 31, 2025, Barragán highlighted the importance of protecting healthcare services in a tweet that marked the Day of Action. She stated: "On this Day of Action, we shine light on the Republican Rip Off and stand with our partners to fight back to protect critical healthcare services at health clinics." She expressed pride in standing with patients and LA City Councilmember Tim McOsker at Harbor Community Health Center.

Later that day, Barragán addressed concerns about paused funding for climate and infrastructure programs under Donald Trump's administration. In her tweet from January 31, she noted: "Donald Trump has illegally PAUSED funding for critical climate and infrastructure programs, leaving billions in limbo." She detailed the financial impacts on specific projects such as $411 million for the Port of LA via the Clean Ports Program and $7 billion for Solar for All.

In another tweet posted on January 31, Barragán criticized what she termed as Donald Trump’s "#RepublicanRipOff," which she claimed would prevent taxpayer dollars from returning to communities. She emphasized: "Donald Trump’s #RepublicanRipOff would stop your taxpayer dollars from coming back to our community." She assured that House Democrats would strive to ensure federal funds continue supporting schools and families.
