He stated that "The American social safety net is on the line, and at this point, House Republicans will do whatever Donald Trump wants them to do." He further mentioned his discussion with Brian Tyler Cohen regarding various topics including Elon Musk and DOGE.
In another tweet posted on the same day, Garcia expressed his opinion about Elon Musk by stating "I think calling Elon Musk a dick is pretty kind, actually, considering everything he’s done."
Later that day, Garcia addressed what he perceives as serious threats to democracy. He commented that "These folks are, besides being completely, in my opinion, insane in the way they are viewing the world, they are serious about destroying our institutions and our democracy."
