Congressman Robert Garcia has recently raised significant concerns about activities undertaken by Homeland Security agents and the policies of former President Donald Trump affecting his district. Via a series of tweets, he expressed his frustration over two recent incidents involving Homeland Security and college students.

Continuing on April 12, 2025, he posted about the agents showing up at these schools seeking six specific students under the false pretense that they had permission from the students' guardians.
