She further emphasized her commitment to fighting against these changes alongside her Democratic colleagues: "Donald Trump and Republicans are plotting the largest Medicaid cut in history, all to give tax breaks to their billionaire donors."

In a follow-up post dated March 20, 2025, Barragán reiterated her stance against the Medicaid cuts during an appearance on Rep. Hakeem Jeffries' show "WTFShow2025."
