Congressman Robert Garcia, representing California's 42nd district since 2023, has been vocal on various political issues through his social media presence. His recent posts cover topics such as leadership in the California Assembly and Senate, tax policies proposed by Republicans, and the rights of transgender youth.

On December 3, 2024, Congressman Garcia expressed support for California's legislative leaders in a tweet: "Want to wish @CASpeakerRivas and Senate Pro Tempore @ilike_mike the best as they lead the Assembly and Senate in Sacramento. California will lead to push back on the most dangerous Trump and House Republican ideas. Proud to partner with them both."

Later that day, Garcia criticized Republican tax policies while advocating for healthcare rights. He tweeted: "Far-right Republicans are pushing tax breaks for billionaires while planning to cut health care for everyday Americans. We can’t let this happen. House Democrats are fighting to protect Medicaid and ensure health care for all. Health care is a human right, period."

On December 4, 2024, he addressed a Supreme Court case regarding medical care for transgender youth. In his post, he stated: "Today, the Supreme Court heard arguments on whether politicians can block medically necessary care for trans youth. Medical decisions should be made by families and doctors—not politicians. I will always fight to protect trans rights and our constitutional privacy protections."
