Congressman Robert Garcia, representing California's 42nd District, has shared a series of tweets addressing various issues and events. The tweets range from economic policy criticism to legislative achievements and community engagement.

On November 26, 2024, Congressman Garcia expressed concerns over former President Trump's tariff proposal. He stated that "Trump’s tariff proposal would not only raise prices on everyday goods like groceries, but also cause major disruptions to building homes. The price of materials for housing will skyrocket. This is a terrible and damaging idea."

Later the same day, Garcia announced the signing of his first bill into law. He proudly mentioned his bipartisan achievement with the GAO Inspector General Parity Act. According to his tweet, "The President just signed my first bill into law! Proud of my bipartisan GAO Inspector General Parity Act. This reform strengthens oversight and empowers the Government Accountability Office’s inspector general to keep detecting fraud and corruption. More important now than ever."

In another post from November 26, 2024, Garcia celebrated a local business in Bell Gardens City during the holiday season kickoff. He recognized Leon’s Flowers for its long-standing service in Southeast Los Angeles by tweeting: "As we kick-off the holidays, I’m in @bellgardenscity today at Leon’s Flowers, recognizing them for 14 years of serving the community. An amazing shop that serves Southeast LA."
