His leadership sparked a movement that led to the first successful farmworkers union in the U.S." Barragán paid tribute to Chavez's legacy and his contribution to labor rights.

In a tweet dated April 1, 2025, Barragán expressed gratitude towards a colleague, stating, "Thank you to @SenBooker for LITERALLYtaking a stand for the American people and making sure that Congress has to listen to the voices of all the unheard Americans who are being harmed by the actions of Donald Trump and Republicans." Her message highlights her appreciation for Senator Booker's actions in Congress.
