On March 5, 2025, Barragán referenced a report by Fox News concerning the price increase of a Dodge RAM vehicle in Pennsylvania. She stated, "Yesterday, Fox reported the cost of a Dodge RAM jumped by $20,000 at a car dealer in Pennsylvania because of Trump’s tax on the American people through tariffs." She criticized this development as part of what she described as broken promises resulting in higher prices and fewer jobs.

The following day, March 6, 2025, Barragán urged her followers to watch an ongoing hearing by House Democrats. In her tweet, she wrote: "Tune in now as ⁦@HouseDemocrats⁩ hold a hearing to tell the American people about the #RepublicanRipOff plan to cut Medicaid to give tax breaks to Elon Musk their other billionaire donors." This statement reflects her opposition to proposed Medicaid cuts that she believes would benefit wealthy individuals.

Later on March 6, Barragán addressed concerns related to Social Security and its administration. She claimed that despite assurances from Trump not to cut Social Security benefits, disruptions were already evident due to actions by Elon Musk and DOGE. Her tweet noted: "Trump claims he will not cut Social Security, but Elon Musk and DOGE have already caused chaos at the Social Security Administration – and beneficiaries are already seeing the impacts: increased phone wait times, canceled disability hearings, and delayed review of disability…"
