Congressman Robert Garcia, representing California's 42nd district since 2023, recently took to social media to express his opinions on various political matters. A former mayor himself, Garcia commented on the conduct of New York City Mayor Eric Adams during a hearing.

On March 6, 2025, Congressman Garcia tweeted about NYC Mayor Eric Adams, stating: "As a former mayor, I know how important integrity and trust with your community is. At our hearing, NYC Mayor Eric Adams took no responsibility for his actions and corruption. He should step aside and stop bending the knee to Donald Trump."

Later that day, at 16:40 UTC, he expressed concerns regarding proposals to dismantle the Department of Education. Garcia argued: "Dismantling the Dept of Education would be catastrophic for the millions of families who have students with disabilities. You can’t just send the money to states who can then choose to redirect funds to private schools who don’t support those programs. This must be stopped."

By evening on March 6th at 19:51 UTC, Congressman Garcia addressed former President Donald Trump's approval ratings in another tweet. He remarked: "Donald Trump’s approval ratings are now underwater, why? Because we are calling him out daily and reminding the public that he’s on the side of the billionaires. Our voters don’t want us to work with Republicans - they want us to fight back."
