Congressman Robert Garcia has recently expressed his concerns and positions on various issues through a series of tweets. These tweets address topics ranging from safety in air travel to the handling of federal secrets and social security.

On March 3, 2025, Congressman Garcia questioned the silence of House Republicans regarding the firing of over 400 FAA safety technicians and employees. He asked, "Are any House Republicans concerned about the 400+ fired FAA safety technicians and employees who work to keep air travel safe? Can just one GOP House member speak out against Elon and Trump's dangerous cuts? How cowardly and dangerous."

Later that day, Garcia announced his new role as the lead Democrat on the Declassification of Federal Secrets Taskforce. In this capacity, he made a public request directed at former President Donald Trump. He tweeted, ".@OversightDems has asked me to be the lead Democrat on the new Declassification of Federal Secrets Taskforce. Here’s my first request - Hey @realDonaldTrump, are you going to release the Epstein files?"

In another tweet posted on March 3, 2025, Congressman Garcia criticized what he described as a significant financial scheme involving Elon Musk. He stated, "The biggest Ponzi scheme in America is Elon’s plan to destroy Social Security and re-direct earned benefits for a huge tax cut for him and his billionaire friends. We are going to stop him."
