CITY OF LAKEWOOD, LA:Register now for your free flu vaccination

City of Lakewood, LA recently the following announcement.

The City of Lakewood and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Vaccine Preventable Disease Control (VPDC) have partnered to offer 500 free flu shot vaccinations to the community.

The free flu vaccination clinic will be held in the parking lot in front of the main building at Palms Park, 12305 207th St. in Lakewood on Friday, Dec. 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Here's how it works:

1. Make a reservation. Email nflores@lakewoodcity.org or call 562-866-9771, extension 2410 to make a reservation for one of these times:

  • 10:30 a.m.
  • 11:00 a.m.
  • 11:30 a.m.
  • 12:00 p.m.
  • 12:30 p.m.
  • 1:00 p.m.
2. Wait in your car until called. On Dec. 4 at your appointment time, you will park in the Palms Park parking lot, receive a reservation number and wait in your car until notified by staff.

3. Walk up to receive your vaccination. You'll be notified when it's your turn to walk up to the vaccination area. 

Please note that all participants must wear face masks covering their nose and mouth and observe social distancing at all times.
