CALIFORNIA STATE ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 70: O’Donnell Supportive of Governor Newsom’s Executive Order to Maintain Funding for Schools During Closures

California State Assembly District 70 issued the following announcement on March 13.

 Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell (D – Long Beach) issued the following statement in support of the Governor’s executive order regarding school closures and funding:  

“I support the Governor’s executive order to continue to fund school districts during this unprecedented crisis,” said Assemblymember O’Donnell, Chair of the Assembly Education Committee. “We must ensure our teachers and staff are compensated while we work to limit the spread of COVID-19. I would like to thank all involved on the frontlines who are protecting the health and safety of our students.” 

Governor issued executive order N-26-20 to provide funding for schools during closures.
