Congressman Robert Garcia, who represents California’s 42nd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed a range of issues on his social media accounts, including local community concerns, national political controversies, and international conflicts.
On August 7, 2025, Garcia posted about his engagement with constituents at a local event: “Spent time at the Marine Stadium Farmers Market to hear directly from residents about the issues they care about. It’s clear that Long Beach wants us to fight corruption, support workers, and take on the big polluters harming our coastline.”
Two days later, on August 9, he commented on developments regarding investigations related to Jeffrey Epstein: “We successfully subpoenaed the full Epstein files, but there’s no question that Donald Trump, the DOJ, and House Republicans are trying to create their own story. We need justice for the victims, and we are going to stop this White House cover-up.”
Addressing foreign policy and humanitarian issues on August 10, Garcia stated: “Palestinian and Israeli lives have the same value. I called for a ceasefire over a year ago because I support peace, a release of all the hostages, and a Palestinian state free of Hamas. It should be clear to all that the Netanyahu government’s plans for another massive”
Garcia has served as congressman for California’s 42nd district since 2023 after succeeding Ken Calvert. He was born in Lima, Peru in 1977 and currently resides in Long Beach. Garcia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach.
