Promise Madubugwu, a former Gardena Senior High School star who now plays for Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros, is set to participate in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The Toros enter as the No. 5 seed and are slated to face the No. 4 seed, Alaska Anchorage Seawolves.
The opening-round matchup will take place Friday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m. in Pioneer Gymnasium.
