On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Millikan Senior High School standout Ava Schaffel’s current college team, the San Diego State Aztecs, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.

The game took place at Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cavaliers this season.

It was the last San Diego State Aztecs’ game this season
