On Monday, Feb. 3, former San Pedro Senior High School standout Izabella Chavez’s current college team, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros, won 10-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Chaminade Silverswords.
The game took place at Toro Diamond. This was their second matchup against the Silverswords this season.
The Toros’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 12 p.m. at Toro Diamond against Western Oregon Wolves.
