On Monday, Feb. 3, former Long Beach Poly High School standout Sakarah Buckner’s college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Monday, Feb. 3, former Long Beach Poly High School standout Sakarah Buckner’s current college team, the Azusa Pacific Cougars, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves.

The game took place at Cougar Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the ThunderWolves this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6 at 4 p.m. at Cougar Softball Complex against Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks.
