U.S. Congresswoman Nanette D. Barragán, who represents California’s 44th district, shared a series of posts on social media in July 2025 highlighting both her involvement in congressional events and her advocacy on health policy issues.
On July 16, Barragán posted about an upcoming softball game featuring Southern California participants: “We know you all are jealous of SoCal – and tomorrow night you’ll be jealous of the scoreboard! Bring it on!” (July 16, 2025).

Barragán has represented California’s 44th District since 2017 after succeeding Janice Hahn. She was born in Los Angeles in 1976 and continues to reside there. Barragán earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA in 2000 and completed her law degree at USC in 2005.
