On September 16, Barragán criticized former President Trump and Republican lawmakers over health care tax credits: “Trump and Republicans are ready to let health care tax credits expire – leaving MILLIONS of Americans with higher premiums and expensive care options. Prescription drugs, annual visits, specialty care, and everyday life will continue to cost A LOT MORE because of irresponsible”.
