On Friday, Feb. 21, former Mayfair High School standout Sydney Soto’s current college team, the California Baptist Lancers, lost 8-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The game took place at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Sun Devils this season.

The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1:15 p.m. at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium against New Mexico State Aggies.
