On Friday, March 14, former Long Beach Poly High School standout Sakarah Buckner’s current college team, the Azusa Pacific Cougars, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Dominican Penguins.
The game took place at Cougar Softball Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Penguins this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 4 p.m. at Cougar Softball Complex against Biola Eagles.
