Congressman Robert Garcia, who represents California’s 42nd district in the U.S. Congress and has served since 2023, addressed a range of topics on his Twitter account between September 15 and 16, 2025.

On September 15, Garcia marked the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month with a message emphasizing the importance of recognizing Latino contributions to American society. He wrote, “Today is the start of Hispanic Heritage Month—a chance to celebrate our community’s history, culture, and achievements. Latinos embody resilience and pride, and our contributions move America forward. Especially now, we must uplift those who are struggling across our country.” (September 15, 2025).

Later that day, Garcia commented on recent developments involving former President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. He stated, “Trump claimed that his birthday note to Epstein didn’t exist. He called it a ‘hoax’—despite physical evidence—and Republicans in Congress capitulated. Now that a bipartisan group of lawyers has verified the book’s authenticity, there’s no denying it anymore. Release the files.” (September 15, 2025).

Continuing on this topic into the following day, Garcia posted: “This is not just about the Epstein crimes. It’s about the White House cover-up. The American people want answers, and the survivors and victims deserve justice.” (September 16, 2025).

Garcia was born in Lima, Peru in 1977 and currently resides in Long Beach. He earned his BA from California State University, Long Beach.
