Congressman Robert Garcia, who represents California’s 42nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on social media regarding former President Donald Trump and the ongoing investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

On September 9, 2025, Garcia wrote: “Donald Trump repeatedly denied the existence of his note to Epstein. Now that we have it, we know he lied. Enough delay. Release the full files NOW.”

Later that day, Garcia addressed the President directly: “Mr. President, the Epstein case is far from dead and is not a hoax. In fact, Oversight Dems are just getting started in our investigation. We will fight like hell to get to the full truth and end this White House cover-up.”

The following morning, on September 10, Garcia reiterated his stance: “The note is real. It’s not a hoax. And we are not stopping until we get the truth.”

Garcia has been serving as a member of Congress since 2023 after replacing Ken Calvert as representative for California’s 42nd district. He was born in Lima, Peru in 1977 and currently resides in Long Beach. Garcia holds a BA from California State University, Long Beach.
