Congressman Robert Garcia, who represents California’s 42nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on September 4, 2025, addressing issues related to Ghislaine Maxwell, the Trump Administration, and the release of files associated with Jeffrey Epstein.

In a tweet published at 01:37 UTC, Garcia stated: “The Epstein victims and survivors made it crystal clear that Ghislaine Maxwell should never have received preferential treatment from the Trump Administrarion. She’s a sexual predator and trafficker and must not be pardoned.”

Later that day, at 16:58 UTC, he commented on the handling of documents connected to Epstein: “The White House has been begging House Republicans to help them conceal the Epstein files. What are they hiding? No matter how powerful you are or your political party, if you hurt young women and girls, you must be held accountable. Release the files NOW.”

At 17:54 UTC on the same day, Garcia addressed forthcoming materials related to Epstein: “Next week, we should be receiving the Epstein birthday book and note that Donald Trump says doesn’t exist. Release the files, NOW.”

Robert Garcia began serving in Congress in 2023 after replacing Ken Calvert as representative for California’s 42nd district. He was born in Lima, Peru in 1977 and currently resides in Long Beach. Garcia is an alumnus of California State University, Long Beach.
