Congressman Robert Garcia, who represents California’s 42nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on August 24 and 25, 2025, addressing issues ranging from environmental protection to government transparency.
On August 24, Garcia emphasized the importance of preserving local natural resources. He wrote, “Southern California is home to some of the best beaches in America. We have to protect them so that future generations can enjoy them as much as we do.”
The following day, he encouraged constituents and followers to stay informed about his work. On August 25, he tweeted, “Watch and follow our work https://t.co/4ZglZ5Hebm”.
Later that same day, Garcia commented on the ongoing controversy surrounding the release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. He stated, “We reviewed 33,000 pages of documents related to the Epstein files – 97% of them were are already public. It’s clear the White House cover-up continues. Pam Bondi could release the full Epstein files today, but she refuses to do so. What are they hiding?”
Garcia has represented California’s 42nd District since replacing Ken Calvert in 2023. Born in Lima, Peru in 1977 and currently residing in Long Beach at age 45, Garcia holds a BA from California State University, Long Beach.
