Congressman Robert Garcia, who represents California’s 42nd district in the U.S. Congress, has used his social media platform to address several pressing political issues, including the Epstein case and recent government actions.
On October 2, 2025, Garcia criticized Speaker Johnson’s handling of the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. He wrote: “Speaker Johnson is doing everything in his power to stall progress in the Epstein case. Now, he’s refusing to swear in Representative-Elect Adelita Grijalva—the 218th and FINAL signature we need to force a full release of the files. Stop the cover-up. Release the files!”
Later that day, Garcia addressed economic concerns amid ongoing political turmoil. On October 2, 2025, he posted: “The government is shut down AND health care premiums are about to skyrocket—all thanks to Donald Trump. This isn’t what he promised, and it’s not what the American people deserve. We won’t back down.”
Continuing his focus on the Epstein investigation, on October 3, 2025, Garcia stated: “Secretary Lutnick spelled out what we already know: that some of the most powerful men across the country and world were involved in Epstein’s crimes. We won’t stop until we get the full truth.”
Garcia has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after replacing Ken Calvert as representative for California’s 42nd District. Born in Lima, Peru in 1977 and now residing in Long Beach at age 45, Garcia holds a BA from California State University, Long Beach.
