Congressman Robert Garcia, who represents California’s 42nd district in the U.S. Congress, has used his social media platform to call for accountability in high-profile investigations and criticize the current administration’s actions.

On October 11, 2025, Garcia posted, “It’s long overdue that Ghislaine Maxwell answers OUR questions. Enough stalling. We need to end this White House cover-up and get justice for the survivors and victims.”

Later that day, Garcia highlighted concerns from his constituents in California, stating on October 11, 2025, “Folks back home in California have made it CRYSTAL clear: they want House Republicans to negotiate and keep their health care costs down. And they want a full release of the Epstein files. Trump needs to stop betraying his base.”

On October 12, 2025, Garcia accused the administration of repeated violations of federal law, writing, “This Administration is violating the Hatch Act over and OVER again. DHS’s airport video, political messages in employee emails and on government websites, and now mass firings—all of these acts are corrupt and illegal. Want to help us fight back? Use our whistleblower tip line.”

Garcia has served in Congress since 2023, representing California’s 42nd district after succeeding Ken Calvert. He was born in Lima, Peru in 1977 and currently resides in Long Beach. Garcia is an alumnus of California State University, Long Beach, where he earned his BA.
